Farming & kitchen.
Farmer’s Delight is the deepest everyday system in this pack. This division explains the loop: find crops in the world, establish reliable fields, build the five useful stations, and cook food for different journeys.
Crop hunting map.
Treat crop gathering like a set of short expeditions. Bring a bed, food and empty inventory space, then bring each crop home before trying to optimize production.
| Crop | Where to search | How it becomes a farm |
|---|---|---|
| Tomato | Hot and dry biomes, especially Savanna | Collect tomatoes or seeds and grow them on farmland. |
| Onion | Temperate Plains and Forests | Plant onion items directly on farmland. |
| Cabbage | Coasts and Beach biomes | Collect Cabbage Seeds, then plant and harvest the mature heads. |
| Rice | Wet biomes, especially Swamps | Use a water-adjacent or shallow-water paddy rather than a normal dry row. |
| Wild potato / carrot | Cold and temperate wild-crop patches | Return to ordinary vanilla farmland. |
| Straw | Harvest eligible grassy crops with a Farmer’s Delight Knife | A secondary harvest used in rope and related recipe families. |
A farm that stays useful.
Put the kitchen on the side facing your fields. The shortest path should run crop → storage → Cutting Board or Cooking Pot, without crossing animal pens or decorative rooms.
Four labeled rows for Tomato, Onion, Cabbage and a rotating vanilla staple. Leave one path block between crop families.
A separate shallow-water plot close enough to the pantry that Rice can become Cooked Rice or Fried Rice quickly.
Let Organic Compost transform into Rich Soil, then use it where you care most about crop speed.
Keep a Knife near crops for Straw and compatible harvest interactions. RightClickHarvest may replant eligible mature crops automatically.
Five things worth building.
Prepares meats and vegetables on a Cutting Board; some crop harvesting produces Straw. This is not the weapon mod’s Dagger.
Place an ingredient on the board, then use the appropriate tool to obtain cuts, portions, slices or recycled material.
Place over active heat, load ingredients, and supply a Bowl, Bottle or Pumpkin in the serving slot when the dish requires one.
A permanent heat source and the visual center of a proper kitchen.
Cook while held near heat, or sneak-place it on heat and add raw food.
If the same ingredients produce another mod’s Dagger, the recipes overlap. Use the recipe archive to confirm both outputs; a recipe-selection mod or datapack change may be needed.
Three food routes.
| Need | Useful dishes | Keep stocked |
|---|---|---|
| Portable travel | Bacon Sandwich, Hamburger, Chicken Sandwich, Dumplings, Cabbage Rolls | Bread, cooked meat portions, Cabbage and Tomato |
| Hearty base meals | Beef Stew, Chicken Soup, Vegetable Soup, Fried Rice, Pasta with Meatballs | Bowls, Rice, Onion, Carrot, Potato and prepared meat |
| Special bottles | Hot Cocoa, Apple Cider, Glow Berry Custard | Glass Bottles, Milk, Sugar, Cocoa Beans, Apples and Glow Berries |
| Group feasts | Roast Chicken, Shepherd’s Pie, Stuffed Pumpkin | Multiple crop families and a serving space at home |
Make Tomato Sauce to establish a base ingredient, Beef Stew for a straightforward hearty meal, and Fried Rice to give the paddy an immediate purpose.
